Where the card actually is

جوّه Apple Wallet لو معاك آيفون، وجوّه Google Wallet لو معاك أندرويد. مفيش تطبيق نزّلته ومفيش حساب عملته، وده مقصود.

Inside Apple Wallet if you are on an iPhone, inside Google Wallet if you are on Android. You did not install an app and you did not make an account, and that is deliberate.

مش لاقيه؟ افتح المحفظة نفسها من الموبايل، مش المتصفح. هو هناك جنب كروتك التانية.

Cannot find it? Open the wallet app itself rather than your browser. It is in there beside your other cards.

How a stamp gets added

• بتفتح الكارت من محفظتك وتوريه للباريستا.
• You open the card in your wallet and show it to the barista.
• بيمسح الـ QR اللي عليه، ويدوس مرة واحدة.
• They scan the QR on it and tap once.
• العدد بيتغيّر في محفظتك على طول.
• The count changes in your wallet straight away.
• لو دَوَس غلط، بيتراجع في نفس اللحظة، ومفيش ختمة بتضيع.
• If they tap the wrong thing they can undo it on the spot, and no stamp is lost.

ولما الكارت يكمل، بتاخد اللي ليك والكارت بيرجع من أول وجديد. نفس الكارت، مش كارت تاني، فمش هتلاقي عندك عشر كروت من نفس المكان.

When the card fills you take what you earned and the same card starts again at zero. It is the same card, not a new one, so you never end up with ten of them from one place.

الكافيه بيشوف إيه

What the cafe can see

الكافيه اللي اشتركت فيه بيشوف اسمك ورقمك وزياراتك عندهم: كل ختمة، وامتى كانت، وفي أي فرع. الليستة دي بتاعتهم هما، زي دفتر العملاء بالظبط.

The cafe you signed up with sees your name, your number and your visits to them: every stamp, when it was, and which branch. That list is theirs, the same way a paper customer book would be.

إحنا مبنبيعش بياناتك ومبنأجّرهاش لحد، ومفيش إعلانات في الموضوع خالص.

We do not sell your details and we do not rent them to anyone, and there is no advertising in any of this.

الرسايل اللي بتوصلك

The messages you get

الكافيه يقدر يبعتلك رسالة على الكارت نفسه، زي إنه فاضلّك ختمة واحدة.

The cafe can send a message to the card itself, something like one stamp to go.

• على الآيفون بتظهرلك على شاشة القفل.
• On an iPhone it shows on your lock screen.
• على الأندرويد بيوصلك إشعار إن الكارت اتحدّث، وتقرا الرسالة لما تفتحه.
• On Android you get a notice that the card was updated, and you read the message when you open it.

وإنت إديت الكافيه رقمك، فوارد برضه يكلّموك على واتساب زي أي محل بتتعامل معاه.

You did give the cafe your number, so they may also message you on WhatsApp, like any shop you deal with.

غيّرت موبايلك، أو ضاع

New phone, or you lost it

الكارت في محفظتك، فموبايل جديد بنفس حساب Apple أو Google بيرجّعه معاه.

The card lives in your wallet, so a new phone on the same Apple or Google account brings it back with everything else.

وحتى لو ضاع خالص: امسح نفس اللافتة في نفس الكافيه واكتب نفس الرقم، هيرجعلك نفس الكارت بختماته، مش كارت فاضي من الأول.

And even if it is gone for good: scan the same sign at the same cafe and enter the same number, and you get the same card back with its stamps on it, not an empty one.

لو عايز تخرج

If you want out

تقدر تشيل الكارت من محفظتك في أي وقت. بس خلي بالك: ده بيشيله من الموبايل بس، واسمك ورقمك بيفضلوا عند الكافيه.

You can delete the card from your wallet whenever you like. Worth knowing though: that removes it from your phone only, and your name and number stay with the cafe.

عشان يتمسحوا بجد، كلّم الكافيه، أو كلّمنا إحنا على واتساب. بنمسح اسمك ورقمك وزياراتك، وبنقولّك خلاص اتعملت.

To have them actually erased, ask the cafe, or message us on WhatsApp. We delete your name, your number and your visits, and we tell you when it is done.
